I am a visual artist and educator living in County Galway, Irleand. I have lived and
worked as an artist in the corporate world, mainly in the USA.
Having returned to art college, I have an honours degree in Fine Art Painting
and Masters of Arts in Creative Practice.

My current work and research is informed by my exploration, study and documentation of the bigger themes described by unfolding events leading up to day 7 in Genesis, the subsequent devastating consequence, the world outside the garden, redemption and the hope of reinstated day 7 Paradise.
Central to my practice lies my Christ centered life, researching the bible and continuing to be amazed by the small things that have such huge life changing, eternal impact and outcomes ‘Outside the Garden’ in this broken world. My heart delights in the small nuances of life, portraying a comforting continuance in its smallest form like the pollinators and the plants and flowers that grow faithfully for them, season after season, weaving together to create what is vital for sustaining life.
After years of making large artworks, I am now making art that is tiny but actually portrays the bigger picture. I shine a light on what is hidden in plain sight. The dandelion is the great signifier of nature’s munificence, brought into being long ago. I hope my small paintings help enhance an understanding of the world and its interconnection between the earth, creator and ourselves.
